Doda, Jan. 22 -- Doda Deputy Commissioner (DC) Harvinder Singh provided an update on the Doda road accident incident, which resulted in the death of 10 army personnel on Thursday.

Speaking to reporters, the Deputy Commissioner of Doda stated that the presence of snow on the Bhaderwah-Chamba road was a primary cause behind this tragic accident.

He stated that out of the 11 injured jawans, ten have been airlifted to the Command Hospital in Udhampur for treatment. The DC of Doda further noted that the mortal remains of the deceased soldiers have been sent to their families.
