Mumbai, March 11 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray on Tuesday hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Mahayuti government over the state budget, accusing it of lying about its manifesto promises.

Speaking to mediapersons, Thackeray said that the Mahayuti government has been absolutely shameless.

"The BJP has constantly lied about its manifesto promises. Rs. 2100 under the 'Ladli Behna' scheme and farmer loan waivers have been refused. The government has been absolutely shameless. They did not speak a word on the promises that made them win the elections. It's shocking," the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader said.
