Tamil Nadu, July 18 -- On the occasion of Tamil Nadu Day, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin shared a post on X on Friday, noting that this day in 1967 marked the transformation of the first line of this land's identity and is a unique day in the history of the Tamil-speaking world.
He said in a post, "A unique day in the history of the Tamil-speaking world! July 18, 1967: The day the D.M.K. movement assumed power, transforming the very first line of this land's identity."
On this day, the name of Tamil Nadu was officially adopted, fulfilling a dream cherished in our hearts for ages, CM Stalin stated in the post.
