Lucknow, March 17 -- Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday countered Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's "80:20" remarks and said that who speaks like this, can never be a Yogi.

"80 aur 20 bolne wale Yogi nahi ho sakte (Those who speak of 80 and 20 cannot be Yogis)," Akhilesh said while speaking to the media.

"A yogi is not defined by their attire, but by their thoughts. What we have learned is that a yogi is someone who understands the suffering of others, who lives in the material world but is detached from it, who does not get angry, and does not spread hatred," Akhilesh said.

On March 8, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath predicted a landslide victory for the BJP in the next State Assembly elections.
