Lucknow, May 8 -- In a major move, 550 newly appointed government teachers received their appointment letters in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the recruits and praised the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) for conducting a fair and transparent selection process.

While addressing the Assistant Teachers (LT Grade) and Lecturers appointed in government secondary schools, the Chief Minister said, "You must have seen how none of you had to us any external help in the entire selection process of the UP Public Service Commission."
