Jakarta, April 16 -- Coordinating Maritime Affairs and Investment Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan echoed the Indonesian government's pledge to lower greenhouse gas emissions by applying clean energy practices.

The minister reiterated the commitment at Tri Hita Karana High-Level Climate Dialog themed "Indonesia's Clean Energy Transition and Climate Ambition for Zero Emission" held virtually on Thursday.

Indonesia remains committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 29 percent by utilizing its domestic resources and by up to 41 percent with international assistance that encompasses funding, transfer of technology, and capacity building under a business-as-usual scenario in 2030.
