Jakarta, March 25 -- The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (PMK Ministry) has asked people to remain vigilant and prevent the spread of tuberculosis (TB) by implementing health protocols.

"Given that tuberculosis transmission is through droplet splashes, the implementation of health protocols is very relevant to prevent its spread," assistant deputy for disease control and management at the ministry Nancy Dian Anggraeni said here on Friday.

The community also needs to play an active role in efforts to control TB and disseminate information about the disease, she added.
