Jakarta, Feb. 16 -- There is a high probability that the development of Indonesia's new capital Nusantara (IKN) will continue after the 2024 General Elections, according to the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).

A researcher from BRIN's Political Research Centre, Dini Suryani, highlighted that 12 of the 17 national political parties who participated in the election support the new capital's development.

"Based on this mapping, there is a high probability that the new capital development will be continued," Suryani observed during a public discussion on post-2024 election IKN development here on Friday.
