Jakarta, June 3 -- Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister (Menpan-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas, during the Bali Digital Festival in Denpasar on Friday, urged regional governments to provide integrated digital public services.

"Regional governments should not race to create applications, but they have to conduct interoperability," he said in a written statement.

Interoperability here means providing digital services via two or more systems or components that are integrated or can share the use of data and information.

Anas cited Britain as a country that has managed to digitalize public services in a large-scale and integrated manner.
