Mental health test run on Sheikh Ali Jaber's attacker: police
Indonesia, Sept. 14 -- Lampung police investigators examined the mental health of Alfin Andrian, who launched a knife attack on Indonesia's charismatic ulema, sheikh Ali Jaber, while attending an Islamic mass gathering at Falahudin Mosque in Bandar Lampung, Sunday.
"The suspect's parents claim that he suffers from a mental health disorder, but the police investigators cannot accept this one-sided confession," Lampung Police Chief Inspector General Purwadi Arianto was quoted by ANTARA in Bandar Lampung as saying on Monday.
