Jakarta, Feb. 16 -- The Jakarta provincial government has ensured that the follow-up voting process to be held at polling stations (TPS) on Sunday (February 18) would be safe from flooding.

"We have checked the places. We also asked the North Jakarta Water Resources Office (SDA) to provide mobile pumping machines," Acting Governor of Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, stated here on Friday.

According to Hartono, several TPS were flooded on the voting day on February 14, so a follow-up voting process will be carried out.

On that day, ballots in the flooded TPS were damaged, thereby postponing the polling process.
