Indonesia using developed nations as model for developing AI ecosystem
Jakarta, Feb. 5 -- Deputy Minister of Communication and Informatics Nezar Patria has stated that the Indonesian government is using developed countries as a model for developing the nation's artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem.
This, according to him, has been pursued in several sectors, such as communication, health, and agriculture.
"We have adopted several foundation models; we even participated in developing them, for instance, Generative AI for Natural Language Processing by several start-ups and data processing by utilizing AI in marketing," he said in a press release issued by his ministry on Monday.
