Kuala Lumpur, Nov. 11 -- A rape case hearing of the Perak lawmaker who had allegedly raped an Indonesian migrant worker was delayed by the Perak state court, Malaysia, Monday, as the judges needed time to study some new material. The private hearing, which was scheduled for today, aimed to hear testimonies from the victim, the 23-year-old migrant worker whose home is in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. She filed a lawsuit against the Perak lawmaker Paul Yong accusing him of raping her.

"The hearing was scheduled to be started at 10:00 a.m, but it was delayed for more than four hours to 2:30 p.m. The judges announced they are studying some new material, so the hearing had been adjourned to Wednesday morning, November 13," ...
