Govt urges youths to plant more trees to handle climate change
North Minahasa, Feb. 7 -- The Environment and Forestry (LHK) Ministry pushed young Indonesians to actively plant more trees in a bid to preserve the environment and protect Earth from the adverse impacts of climate change.
Director of Forest Rehabilitation at the LHK Ministry Nikolas Nugrojo Surjobasuindro stated on Wednesday that the government is aiming to encourage school and college students to participate in tree planting activities through scout activities and the Green Ambassador Program.
