Jakarta, Dec. 1 -- With a target of Rp3,061.2 trillion (US$200 billion), state budget spending in 2023 will focus on several key agendas, including improving the quality of human resources and reforming social protection, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati has said.

"Spending budgets on education and health still have the largest allocation in order to build great and productive human resources," Indrawati informed following the handover of the development budget allocation lists (DIPA) and the Book of Transfer Allocations to Regions for the 2023 fiscal year at the State Palace here on Thursday.

To build competitive and productive human resources, the government has allocated a budget of Rp612.2 trillion for the education sector.
