Jakarta, March 14 -- The Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP) of the House of Representatives (DPR) encouraged stronger cooperation between Indonesia and Turkey after receiving a visit from Turkish Ambassador to Indonesia Talip Kucukcan in Jakarta on Wednesday (March 13).

BKSAP Head Fadli Zon stated that the cooperation between the Indonesian and Turkish parliaments had been established in several forums, such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), and in MIKTA, a grouping of Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey, and Australia.
