Jakarta, June 26 -- The Corruption Eradication Commission is undertaking a thorough study of testimonies by two witnesses on the process of budgeting the e-ID card project at the House of Representatives. In that connection, the commission (the anti-graft body), Tuesday, questioned two witnesses in the case against a House member from the Golkar Party, who was named a suspect in the e-ID card graft case.

The two witnesses are Yasonna Laoly and Taufiq Effendi, both former members of the House's Commission II.

"Investigators are studying thoroughly the witnesses' testimonies on the process of budgeting the e-ID card project at the House," commission's spokesman Febri Diansyah said Tuesday.
