India, April 12 -- The Navi Mumbai Crime Branch's Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) has busted a sex racket operating out of a lodging and boarding facility in the Narpoli area of Kon, Panvel. Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid on Thursday, resulting in the arrest of three individuals and the rescue of six women.

Senior inspector Pritviraj Ghorpade confirmed that a decoy customer was deployed to trap the accused. Those arrested include the lodge manager and two other employees. Authorities are still on the lookout for a fourth person believed to be involved in the illegal operation.
