India, May 10 -- Tensions flared once again along the Line of Control (LoC) as Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire in the Uri and Gurez sectors of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, triggering intense shelling in the region. According to official sources, the Pakistani army specifically targeted the Charunda and Hatlanga areas in Uri, located in the Baramulla district of north Kashmir.
Simultaneously, another breach was reported in the Bagtore area of the Gurez sector in Bandipora district. While heavy exchange of fire continued in both regions, no casualties have been reported so far, though the situation remains volatile. Further updates are awaited as the conflict escalates.
