India, May 9 -- Indian air defence forces on Thursday evening successfully intercepted at least eight missiles launched by Pakistan, which were aimed at sensitive locations in Jammu, including the high-security Jammu Airport at Satwari, according to defence sources.

All missiles, described as "cheap rockets" by the sources, were neutralised before impact, with parallels drawn to Hamas-style attacks. The missiles targeted key border areas such as Satwari, Samba, RS Pura, and Arnia. Sources also alleged a tactical resemblance to the Palestinian terror group Hamas and highlighted a recent reported meeting between Pakistan's ISI and Hamas operatives in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.
