India, Oct. 28 -- The INDIA bloc on Tuesday unveiled its election manifesto for the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls, making a slew of populist promises including a government job for one member of every household, restoration of the old pension scheme, and 200 units of free electricity.

Titled 'Bihar ka Tejashwi Pran' (Tejashwi's Resolve), the 32-page manifesto was released at a packed press conference in Patna. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, flanked by alliance partners, called it a blueprint for "Bihar's development and dignity."
