India, June 2 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has kicked off a Rs.4000 crore infrastructure blitz for the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027 in Nashik, promising a spiritual extravaganza that blends tradition with modernity. Chairing a high-level meeting on Sunday, Fadnavis reviewed the grand preparations and held consultations with Mahants of various Akhadas to ensure the event is deeply rooted in Sanatan values and better organised than ever before.
