India, June 30 -- In a dramatic development, firebrand BJP MLA Raja Singh announced his resignation from the primary membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday, expressing outrage over the likely appointment of Ramchander Rao as the next Telangana BJP president. Singh addressed his resignation letter to Union Minister and current state BJP chief G Kishan Reddy, asking him to inform the Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker of his departure from the party.
