Sri Lanka, April 15 -- Two persons have died in an accident reported in Wellamorana, Mihintale this morning (15), Police said.

The accident was reported when a cab veered off the road and crashed into a culvert after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The driver and a passenger of the vehicle died in the accident.

The deceased, aged 25 and 37, were residents of Anuradhapura and Palugaswewa.
