Sri Lanka, July 3 -- A shooting incident has been reported in Kandana this morning (03).

Two individuals who arrived on a motorcycle carried out the shooting, targeting two people traveling in a car near the Kandana Public Market.

Responding to an inquiry by Ada Derana, the Police Media Spokesman's office stated that the two injured individuals have been admitted to the Ragama Hospital.

Furthermore, it is reported that Sameera Manahara, who was the private secretary of the late Minister Mangala Samaraweera, is one of those injured in the shooting at Kandana, police said.
