Sri Lanka, Jan. 8 -- Train operations have been disrupted following an accident in Ambalangoda.

The accident occurred near the 52nd milepost at Kariththa Kanda in Ambalangoda on the coastal railway line, where a lorry skidded onto the railway track.

Due to the accident, train operations have been disrupted, and according to Sri Lanka Railways five office trains have been delayed as a result.
