Sri Lanka, Oct. 26 -- Sri Lanka won the gold medal in the Men's 4x400m relay event at the South Asian Athletics Championships 2025 at the Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium, Morabadi, Ranchi.

The Sri Lanka quartet completed the penultimate event of the Championship with a timing of 3:05.12.

The Men's relay team consisted of Omel Sashintha, Ayomal Akalanka, Kalhara Indupa and Kalinga Kumarage.

Kalinga Kumarage also won the gold medal in the 400m individual event.

India finished second in the Men's 4x400m relay event with a timing of 3:05.38 while Bangladesh secured the bronze medal after clocking 3:15.00.
