Sri Lanka, Oct. 26 -- Sri Lanka's Safiya Yamic won the gold medal in the Women's 200m event at the South Asian Athletics Championships 2025 at the Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium, Morabadi, Ranchi.

She secured the gold medal by clocking 23.58s ahead of two Indian athletes.

Yamic also won the gold medal in the 100m and 4x100m relay events.
