Sri Lanka, Nov. 9 -- Seven Sri Lankan drug traffickers, who are evading arrest and currently residing in the Middle East have agreed to surrender to the authorities.
Speaking during an event held in Colombo today (08), Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala confirmed the development.
The Minister stated that the government's national anti-drug initiative, "A Nation United" commenced last week and a coordinated programme is underway to end the drug menace from the country.
He said as part of the programme a number of initiatives have been launched with the support of numerous agencies.
