Sri Lanka, Feb. 4 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has called on all citizens to join hands in unity, determination and brotherhood to rebuild Sri Lanka.

President Dissanayake in his message to mark Sri Lanka's 78th Independence Day stated that he is confident of building Sri Lanka into a developed, prosperous and virtuous country that the citizens expect. In this endeavour, the President said he places his firm belief in the strength of all citizens, in the collective spirit and in the unwavering character.
