Sri Lanka, May 7 -- The National People's Power has won the Balapitiya Pradeshiya Sabha of the Galle District.

National People's Power (NPP) - 15,278 (16 seats)

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) - 6,539 (6 seats)

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) - 5,518 (5 seats)

United National Party (UNP) - 4,137 (4 seats)

Sri Lanka Communist Party (SLCP) - 2,218 (2 seats)
