Sri Lanka, May 7 -- The National People's Power has claimed victory in the Ja-Ela Urban Council of the Gampaha District.

National People's Power (NPP) - 7,562 (9 seats)

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) - 3,875 (4 seats)

Independent Group - 1,061 (1 seat)

United National Party (UNP) - 690 (1 seat)

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) - 610 (1 seat)
