Sri Lanka, May 25 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand Winston Peters has arrived in the island on an official visit.
The Deputy Prime Minister of New Zealand arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) last night (24), where he was received by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment, Arun Hemachandra.
This is the first visit by a New Zealand Foreign Minister to Sri Lanka since 2013.
During his official visit, the Foreign Minister of New Zealand is scheduled to call on President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, and Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath.
