Sri Lanka, July 14 -- (UPDATE) The individual, who sustained injuries in the shooting incident in Mirigama has succumbed while receiving treatment at the hospital, police stated.

An individual has sustained injuries in a shooting incident in Mirigama, police said.

Accordingly, the individual who sustained severe injuries has been admitted to the Mirigama Hospital.

Further investigations are underway.
