Sri Lanka, Nov. 27 -- The Kandy-Mahiyanganaya main road has been temporarily closed for vehicular traffic between Medamahanuwara and Hasalaka until further notice, the Kandy District Secretary has announced.

The decision has been taken considering the prevailing adverse conditions.
