Sri Lanka, Jan. 12 -- The Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) has decided not to support the no-confidence motion that is expected to be brought against Minister of Education Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
Addressing a media briefing, leader of the ITAK Parliamentarian S. Shritharan announced this decision.
Opposition Members of Parliament are currently in the process of bringing forward a no-confidence motion seeking the removal of Harini Amarasuriya as the Minister of Education, and are in the process of collecting signatures for the motion.
MP Shritharan stated that his party will not sign the no-confidence motion.
