Sri Lanka, Jan. 14 -- Powdered milk importers have agreed to reduce the price of milk powder packets with effect from January 16, the Minister of Trade Wasantha Samarasinghe said.

He said that following a discussion, importers agreed to reduce the price of a 400g pack of milk powder by Rs. 50 and a 01 kg pack by Rs. 125.
