Sri Lanka, Jan. 22 -- A delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is scheduled to arrive in the country today (22).

The IMF delegation is visiting Sri Lanka to assess the damage caused by Cyclone Ditwah and to hold discussions with relevant authorities regarding the situation.

The delegation will remain in Sri Lanka until January 28.

The IMF noted that the purpose of the visit is to examine how Sri Lanka has addressed the economic and humanitarian challenges caused by Cyclone Ditwah, and to understand the impact on infrastructure, livelihoods, and economic stability.
