Sri Lanka, Nov. 11 -- Showers or thundershowers will occur at most parts of the island after 1.00 p.m. today (11), the Department of Meteorology stated.

Fairly heavy falls above 75 mm are likely at some places in the Uva, Southern, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in the Ampara and Batticaloa districts, the Met. Department added.

Showers may occur in the Northern province and in the Trincomalee district during morning hours.

Meanwhile, misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces and in the Ampara district during the early hours of the morning.
