Sri Lanka, Aug. 29 -- Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who was receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Colombo National Hospital, has been discharged from the hospital on Friday.
The 76-year-old was rushed to the intensive care unit of the National Hospital in Colombo last Saturday (23), just hours after being remanded in custody.
Wickremesinghe, who was granted bail on Tuesday, was ordered to be released on three surety bails of Rs. 5 million each by Colombo Fort Magistrate Nilupuli Lankapura.
