Sri Lanka, Feb. 12 -- The National Chamber of Exporters (NCE) is calling for relief measures in the upcoming 2025 Budget to help businesses recover from years of economic challenges.

President of the National Chamber of Exporters Jayantha Karunaratne emphasized the need for tax reductions and cost-cutting initiatives to enhance Sri Lanka's global competitiveness.

"We have faced numerous difficulties over the last four to five years, and this year, we hope for relief that will enable us to operate more efficiently," Karunaratne stated.
