Sri Lanka, Jan. 24 -- The Chief of Staff and Deputy Secretary-General of Parliament, Chaminda Kularatne, has reportedly been temporarily interdicted.

According to official sources, the suspension is effective from January 23.

The decision is reportedly linked to certain alleged irregularities concerning his appointment to the position.
