Sri Lanka, Feb. 2 -- The Attorney General's Department Legal Officers' Association has expressed concern over the circulation of unfounded and baseless personal attacks directed at the Attorney General (AG), Parinda Ranasinghe (Jnr), PC, and officers of the Attorney General's Department in the discharge of their official duties.

This concern was raised through a resolution unanimously passed at a Special General Meeting of the Association held on 29 January 2026, the statement said.
