Sri Lanka, Nov. 12 -- The 35th International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) meeting between the Sri Lanka and Indian Navies and Coast Guards was held on board INS Sukanya, at the Indo-Sri Lanka Maritime Boundary Line, north of Kankesanthurai.

The purpose of the annual IMBL meeting is to strengthen relationships and explore collaborative strategies that the Navies and Coast Guards of the two neighboring countries can implement to address shared maritime challenges in the Indian Ocean Region, the Sri Lanka Navy said in a statement.
