Sri Lanka, July 6 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya stated that healthcare is not just a service but a social necessity, and that good regulation, like good governance, is ultimately about protecting and promoting that social necessity.
The Prime Minister made these remarks while addressing the Centenary Celebration of the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) held on Saturday, July 5, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.
