India, Jan. 12 -- Tata Motors' wholly owned subsidiary -- Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has reported 9% Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y) fall in retail sales at 128,469 vehicles for the quarter ending December 31, 2020 (Q3) over the same period last year. However, it was 13.1% higher than the 113,569 vehicles sold in the preceding quarter. Of the total retail sales, Jaguar sales was 28,072 units, while Land Rover sales stood at 100,397 units in October-December period of 2020.

China sales were particularly encouraging, up 20.2% on the prior quarter and 19.1% Y-o-Y. Retail sales in most other regions also continued to recover and were up significantly on the prior quarter in North America (+31.7%), Overseas (+26.6%) and Europe (+20.5%). However, sales in the...
