India, Jan. 15 -- Physical Rubber prices showed improvement on Tuesday due to rising demand from domestic stockists against ongoing supply crunch in the market. Fall in rubber imports too supported rubber prices' uptrend. Rubber prices gained further on expectations that the tyre companies would come forward to procure the raw material soon. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 136/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 135/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety jumped to 131/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 130/ kg.
