Manama, Feb. 10 -- The General Directorate of Reformation and Rehabilitation said that an inmate who tested positive for the coronavirus has been provided with prompt and full care.
The case was discovered when the 45-year-old inmate, held in a bouncing check case, was examined due to his high temperature.
Following the positive diagnosis, he was transferred to the designated field hospital and all the inmates and staff who had contact with him were examined and isolated for 14 days. None of the contacts tested positive. The building facilities were sanitized by the Civil Defense as part of the precautionary measures.
