Manama, Feb. 10 -- A senior health official has reiterated to strictly follow the health precautionary measures as spike in the COVID-19 cases continues reaching 759 new cases detected on Tuesday.

Everyone must be responsible and adhere to the precautionary measures to maintain the health and safety of everyone, says Dr. Walid Al-Manea, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Health in a tweet early Wednesday morning.

Out of 13674 COVID-19 tests carried out on 9 February 2021, 759 new cases have been detected among 306 expatriate workers, 440 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 13 are travel related.
