Manama, Feb. 7 -- The Kingdom of Bahrain has welcomed the election of representatives of the interim executive authority in the State of Libya announced by the United Nations Mission to Libya during the political dialogue sessions that took place in Geneva, stressing the importance of this step in establishing security in Libya and achieving the aspirations of its people for peace, development and prosperity.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs appreciated the efforts made by the United Nations to reach this agreement, calling on all components of Libyan society to follow the peace approach. It also renewed the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in support of Libya in a way that preserves its sovereignty, security and stability.
